‘I will Use My Traditional Title To Impact More On My Community’—Shamsuddeen Bala Mohammed

Shamsuddeen Bala Mohammed, the first son of Bauchi State governor who was recently crowned as the new Dangaladiman Duguri says he will use the position to bring more development to his immediate community.

Shamsuddeen in an interview with newsmen in Bauchi described traditional institutions as “the bedrock of every society”, adding, his new position was an honour of his lifetime.

“To say I’m highly elated and appreciative of the District Head is just an understatement”, he says.

Shamsuddeen who says he was honoured and humbled by the development added that “it is a huge achievement, and Insha Allah, I’m going to see how I can add value to the community be it through our foundation, Al-Muhibba Foundation, to which among the board of trustees or through my personal pocket.

“Insha Allah I will work for it and whatever leadership Allah gives you, He will give you the capacity to succeed”, he said.

Shamsuddeen who appreciated the District Head of Duguri, Alhaji Ibrahim Y.M. Baba for the title on his 35th birthday says the development was a call for more service and responsibilities.

“I see this as a call to be more responsible and to continue to serve people and my immediate community”, he added.

Shamsuddeen who also appreciated his parents for good parental upbringing hoped that the people of Bauchi State will continue to reap the dividends of democracy, courtesy of the developmental projects implemented by his father, the governor of Bauchi State Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed.
