Jigawa Governor Appoints 10 New Aides

Jigawa State Governor Malam Umar A. Namadi of Jigawa State has approved the appointment of ten new aides.

This is contained in a statement issued by Malam Bala Ibrahim, the Secretary to the Government in Dutse on Tuesday.

He said the appointees include two senior special assistants and eight special assistants.

According to the statement, the newly appointed Senior Special Assistants are Mansur Shehu MSMEs (Financial Inclusion), Abubakar Umaru Energy and Natural Resources.

The Special Assistants appointed include Abdulwahab Garba, Banking and Finance; Garba Iliyasu Yalwan Damai, Stakeholder Engagement; Atiku Kullimi Bamaina, Senior Citizen Engagement; Abdullahi A. Abba Jahun, Environment; Umar Sani Ahmed, Mobilisation.

The Secretary noted that the appointments were based on merit, competence, and personal integrity.

“It is, therefore, hoped that the appointees would justify the confidence reposed in them and put in their best towards the development of the state,” the Secretary said.

He further urged all the appointees to diligently execute the present administration’s policies and programmes.

The statement added that all appointments take immediate effect.
