The mother of Emirs of Kano and Bichi Aminu Ado Bayero and Nasiru Ado Bayero, Maryam Ado Bayero is dead.
Mrs. Ado Bayero died on Saturday in Egypt as announced in Kano Emirate’s Facebook page.
According to the short announcement, arrangements for her funeral rites will be announced later.
The deceased was a widow of late Ado Bayero and a princess of Ilorin Emirate, Kwara state.
Until her death, she was holding the title of ‘Mai Babban daki’ accorded to the mother of the reigning Emir.
