UPDATED: For Jumping Court Order, IGP Bags 3 Months Jail Term

A Federal High Court in Abuja earlier today sentenced Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Usman Baba, to three months in prison for disobeying a court order, but the Nigeria Police Force argues otherwise.

The presiding judge, Justice Mobolaji Olajuwon, according to Channels TV, issued the order following a suit filed by a former police officer, Patrick Okoli who claimed he was unlawfully and compulsorily retired from the Nigeria Police Force.
