Former governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje has been elected the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
He succeeds Senator Abdullahi Adamu, who resigned last month, Daily Trust reports. Ganduje was elected at the ongoing National Executive Committee (NEC) Caucus meeting of the ruling party in Abuja.
This comes after it was speculated that the ex-governor would succeed Adamu.
