Members of the Plateau State House of Assembly, PLAHA, have impeached the Speaker of the House Hon Abok Ayuba Nuhu.
Out of the 24 members making up the House, 16 members voted in favour of the impeachment on Thursday at the plenary of the Assembly.
Daily Trust reports that Hon Sanda Yakubu, who hails from Pingana constituency of Bassa Local Government Area of the state was voted to replace Hon Abok.
