Just In: Seven Victims of Jos Muslim Massacre Rescued

Seven victims of the attack on Muslim travelers in Rukuba area of Jos Plateau State capital have been rescued.

The rescued persons were on the entourage of the Muslims travelers killed in Jos on Saturday.

Troops of Operation Safe Haven in a statement in Jos on Sunday signed by Military Information Officer, Major Ishaku Gaji Takwa said that the rescued victims have been taken to a safe location for medical care.

He said that troops of Operation Safe Haven “are still on search operation to get the remaining missing victims.”

More than 40 of the Muslim travelers are still missing following the attack on their buses by Rukuba militias.
