President Bola Ahmed Tinubu fell down after missing a step while walking to a vehicle that would convey him round Eagle Square for Democracy Day parade.
The President was supported back to his feet by aides who rushed to lift him up.
A report indicates that President Tinubu’s attempt to hold onto the vehicle’s body for support failed to save him from falling to the ground.
However, the parade continues while the president waives to the crowd as the vehicle moves slowly.
