Kadade: Another Political Role Model Emerged

By Isa Bature

Prince Muhammad Kadade Suleiman is a 25-year-old Kaduna born politician who emerged as the National Youth Leader of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) through consensus during the just-concluded National Convention of the party in Abuja on Sunday.

But Prince Kadade did not just emerge from heaven, the young man built himself at a very early age and has been in the gallery frame of PDP in Kaduna state under the political school of thought of former Governor of Kaduna State Senator Ahmad Muhammad Makarfi.

Kadade is a great mobilizer for the PDP and has paid his dues from the grassroots. He contested the Governorship election in 2019 under the PDP platform despite he didn’t purchase the form but it is on record that young Kadade has been a crowd mover.

Fact check has shown that Prince Kadade truly has gathered a wealth of experience in politics and deserves the position of the National Youth Leader of PDP because of the consistency and loyalty he maintains amongst the elite class. Pince Kadade has truly packaged himself well and it pays for him in the long run.

The relevance of the youths to the development of any society is beyond contest. It is the segment of the population that keeps all other segments of any society going. And across time and space, no society had ever been created nor attained development without the glorious and heroic contributions of its youths.

But, the majority of our youth in Nigeria are not interested in grassroots politics, they only participate in politics-related activities during election time. We must develop this culture and start from somewhere. Remember that politics is not all about the scramble to occupy the highest elective posts in the land.

As youths, it is time we stop bemoaning the exclusion we currently face in the political space, and actually take action towards building our future and the very conducive political atmosphere we all wish to have. There is a huge opportunity available for us all to make an impact and we should take it.

As for Prince Muhammad Kadade Suleiman, he pays his dues and today he is a shining star, an example for our youth and a role model and inspiration to many.

I wish him the very best in this new journey of his life. May Allah guide him.
