The Kano State Chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC) has urged its members and supporters to be calm and law abiding as Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) reviews the outcome of the March 18 gubernatorial poll.
Malam Muhammad Garba, Kano State Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs,, made the plea in a statement issued in Abuja on Tuesday.
Following the declaration of New Nigeria Peoples Party’s (NNPP) Abba Kabiru Yusuf as winner of the poll by INEC, APC petitioned the electoral commission, issuing a seven-day ultimatum to review the results. The ultimatum ended last Friday, but INEC is yet to make any statement.
