Abba Kabir Yusuf, Kano State Governor has approved the appointment of an additional 94 Senior Special Assistants.
This is contained in a statement issued by his Press Secretary, Malam Bature Dawakin-Tofa, in Kano on Tuesday.
WikkiTimes earlier reported that the governor appointed 44 social media activists as Senior Special Reporters and Special Reporters respectively as part of the latest wave of appointments. The appointees were billed to spine online on the policies and programmes of the NNPP-led administration in the state.
The governor had in a tsunami of appointments in August this year, appointed 81 aides with 52 of them to serve as Special Advisers; 10 Senior Special Assistants and 42 Special Assistants.
Dawakin-Tofa said all the appointments take immediate effect.

The recent appointments came barely six days after the governor was sacked by the court.
WikkiTimes had reported that the Kano Governorship Election Petition Tribunal sacked Governor Yusuf of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) and declared his runner-up Nasir Yusuf Gawuna of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of the March 18 election.
