Kano Lady in DSS Net Over Threats to Judge, Insults to VP, Others

Firdausi Musa Ahmadu, a 23-year-old Kano lady has landed in the net of Nigeria’s secret police, Department of State Security (DSS) for allegedly threatening to kill the lead judge that presided over the Kano governorship election tribunal.

The lady in a viral video clip circulated on social media, also threatened to commit suicide and kill all those “responsible for the victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Kano, Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna at the tribunal.

WikkiTimes has reported that the Kano Governorship Election Petition Tribunal has sacked Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) and declared his runner-up Nasir Yusuf Gawuna of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of the March 18 election.

Wearing a red cap, warned Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna the APC governorship candidate that, “You dare not indicate your location, otherwise, I don’t mind striking you with a bomb vest to commit suicide”.

In the same video clip, Firdausi was overheard warning that anywhere she sees the lead tribunal judge, she won’t mind committing suicide with explosives.

She also attacked Vice President Kashim Shettima, blaming him for the tribunal predicament of the NNPP in Kano and called him with unprintable names.

A source in the DSS, who pleaded anonymity, confirmed the arrest of Firdausi, on Monday.

WikkiTimes recalled that Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of the state had earlier sacked the Commissioner for Land and Physical Planning, Adamu Aliyu Kibiya over remarks threatening judges of the governorship elections petition tribunal in the state.
