KEEP: Governor Bala Empowers More Youths, Women In Dass, Toro

Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed has launched additional economic empowerment in Dass and Toro LGAs of the state in continuation of his ‘Kaura Economic Empowerment Program’, KEEP.

A press statement by his aide on new media Lawal Mu’azu Bauchi says the governor’s program was to help alleviate poverty, reduce unemployment and indolence among youths and women.

The statement says KEEP programme is also positioned to provide enabling business incentives and opportunities for young and agile youths and women.

“His administration has so far empowered thousands of youth and women under the KEEP adding that the program will go a long way in upgrading businesses, especially in rural areas.

“Over seventy-five million naira has been allocated for each of the twenty local government areas for the program hence the need to appreciate the gesture by making good use of the items”, the statement read in part.

Governor Mohammed told the gathering that his administration will continue to provide the state with exemplary leadership and developmental support to women and children.
