Lifeless body of a lady was discovered around a filling station at Farin-Gada, in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State.
A resident of Zuruma community, suspected that the lady, identified as Ruth, was raped to death and dumped at the site on Sunday.
Locals rumoured that the deceased, before the incident, had a brawl with her lover who is a cultit.

“The lady’s underwear was hanging on her legs, an indication that she was raped,” said a resident. “Her legs were dusty; this depicted that there was a struggle or, probably, she was raped somewhere and her corpse dumped there. She was also stabbed.”
Alfred Alabo, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) at of Plateau Police Command, confirmed the incident, adding that the force’s officers have started an investigation and assured that the perpetrator would be brought to book.
