The People’s Democratic Party, PDP has won all the 21 local council chairmanship positions in Adamawa State.
Equally, the party has won 225 out of the 226 councillorship seats in the state.
Announcing the result of the local government election conducted on 18 July 2024, the Chairman of Adamawa State Independent Electoral Commission, Alhaji Muhammad Umar said the New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP won one councilorship seat in Demsa local government area.
According to him, certificates of return will be issued to the winners at the commission’s headquarters on Monday, the 15th of July 2024.
