LGBTQ: Sheikh Daurawa Speaks on Hisbah’s Position

Commander General of the Hisbah board, Sheikh Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa has cleared the air on allegations of hisbah’s involvement in the recent LGBTQ scandal.

WikkiTimes recalls that a video had surfaced yesterday showing an official of Hisba, Idris Ahmed advocating for gay rights an awareness event held by a Kano based LGBTQ advocacy organization, WISE Nigeria.

While addressing the matter in at press conference in Kano on Monday, Sheikh Daurawa started by condemning the recently signed Samoa deal.

Sheikh Daurawa explained that Hisbah does not approve or have any affiliation with the LGBTQ community or NGOs that promote such ideology.

He said the command is not in support of some NGOs that promote LGBTQ as it does not conform with the Islamic Shariah.
