Clad in a pinky dress and hidden behind a wig, Jika John, a 25-year-old man disguised as a woman to gain entrance into the College of Nursing and Midwifery In Yola, Adamawa State on Monday.
According to police authority, John compromised his gender and gained entrance to the female hostel of the college. But in contrast to John’s account, Ahmed Danjuma Gombi, the team leader of Crack Squad of Adamawa Police Command, said the suspect came to the school to steal gas cylinders and sell them.
WikkiTimes gathered that John was apprehended on his way to the hostel by the security operatives on Monday evening. He would later tell the police that he trespassed only to have sex with a girl in the hostel.
Despite Gombi’s submission, the suspect who hails from Michika Local Government Area but lives at Sabon Pegi in Wuro Chekke, Yola South local council of Adamawa GA, insists that he had a sexual arrangement with a girl in the school. According to him, the intercourse was scheduled for Sunday, a day before he was caught.
Suleiman Nguroje, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Adamawa Command, did not respond to calls when contacted. As of press time, he had not responded to a text message.
