Man Impregnates Daughter, Pimps Her To Friends

After allegedly impregnating his 14-year-old daughter (name withheld), a 49-year-old man based in Ogun State, Bola Amoda, invited five of his friends to sleep with her in exchange for money.

Amoda would be arrested when his daughter reported him to the Ode Remo police station in Abeoukuta, Ogun State.

The suspect, according to a statement signed by Abimbola Oyeyemi, the Ogun State police spokesperson, confessed to the crimes. His friends, who slept with the minor at different spots, were later arrested following his confession.

According to the police spokesman, a pregnancy test was conducted at the Ishara-Remo Hospital and the result came out positive.

The statement reads: “On interrogation, the suspect, who first denied the allegations, later confessed when the victim confronted him.

“His confession led to the arrest of five others who have slept with her at different times on the invitation of the father.

“The suspects are Ahmed Ogunkoya; Muyiwa Adeoye; David Solaja; Emmanuel Olusanya, and Joshua Olaniran. All the suspects have confessed to having carnal knowledge of the 14-year-old girl and paid money to her father.

“The victim, whose mother had separated from the father years back, had been living with her father, who practically turned her into a commercial prostitute. She has been taken to a state hospital in Ishara-Remo, where it was confirmed that she is pregnant. 

“The victim has insisted that her father is responsible for the pregnancy, being the only person who slept with her within the period she got pregnant.

“Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, CP Lanre Bankole, has ordered the immediate transfer of the suspects to anti-human trafficking and child labour unit of the state Criminal Investigation Department for discreet investigation and possible prosecution.”
