A 25-year-old Najib Shehu has allegedly killed his sexagenarian stepmother and broke his father’s leg in Katsina State.
The suspect, a resident of Ambassadors Quarters in Katsina killed Asiya Mohammed, before attacking his father.
WikkiTimes gathered the victims had earlier had a face-off with Shehu prior to the incident.

According to an eyewitnesses, as misunderstanding ensued between him and the stepmother, Shehu went into the kitchen, and fetched a pestle which he repeatedly used to hit the deceased.
The deceased before her death was said to have sustained injuries on her head.
In the mid of the incident, the suspect also used the pestle to injure his father on the leg, according to the eyewitness.
However , the suspect confessed to the crime during interrogation by police operatives who arrested him.
The police have also seized the pestle as an exhibit to use against him.
