Maryam Yusuf Maidoki, an 18-year-old girl declared missing in Kano State last week, has been found unconscious after she was hurled out of a tinted car along Na’ibawa Kumbotso local council.
The adult who is a resident of Gwale local council went missing after she left home for an Islamiyah last Monday.
Al’ameen Abbah, a source close to Maryam’s family, last week, told WikkiTimes that Maryam was reluctant to attend Islamiyah on the day she was declared missing. According to the source, she had complained to her mother that she was feverish.
“Some eyewitnesses mentioned that maryam was thrown down from a black tinted,” Abba said, adding she was unconscious at the time she was found.
Maryam was reportedly rushed to an undisclosed hospital by the police in the area, according to Abba.
Although there was no trace of assault on her except for some minor lesions she sustained while she was thrown out of the vehicle, Abba said.
“Up to now Maryam is receiving treatment,” Abba told WikkiTimes. “She still can’t remember anything but she kept mentioning names which I can’t mention to you.”
