NAF Jet Targeting Bandits Kills Woman, Injures Scores in Niger

A Nigerian Air Force (NAF) jet has bombed a women and injured several other locals fleeing bandits’ attack in Rafi local council, Niger State.

A discrete told WikkiTimes the terrorists wreaked havoc in Kwaji and other communities along Gunna axis in Rafi-Kagara, before crossing the dangerous Tegina-Zungeru road to Wushishi local council.

WikkiTimes learnt that the gun-wielding terrorists came in through  a thick forest in Madaka area and had a field day before advancing on their mission.

In response, a NAF jet mobilized to the axis and bombed the fleeing villagers among were the deceased woman.

“They were moving to Yakila for safety when the jet bombed them,” said our source. “She has been buried in Yakila and other people who sustained injuries had been hospitalized.”

It was reliably gathered that the terrorists moved to a village called Grin in Wushishi, trying to cross into neighboring Gbako local council.

All efforts to reach Wapkerem Maigida, the NAF spokesman proved abortive.
