NDLEA Officials Threaten to Murder NUJ VP in Yola

The National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) officials in Yola have threatened to murder the Vice President of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) in charge of Zone E, Comrade Zare Baba.

Comrade Baba, had on Wednesday evening called out some NDLEA staff for an indiscriminate urination at the NUJ Secretariat.

NDLEA Officials attempted to terminate the life of Baba Zare at the NUJ secretariat in Yola around 8 o’clock Wednesday evening when they were chided of indiscriminate urination at the entrance of the NUJ computer center and the bar.

In a polite manner, Zare tried to caution them, but they collectively felt he disrespected them and they ramped on him, hijacked him by the shirt, and threatened to beat him up.

Zare narrated to Tgnews that the two NDLEA officials attempted to murder him when the other fellow rushed and picked up his pistol to shoot him.

“He was held by the Manager and Chris the Barman that’s how I escaped death, else I would have been dead by now,” Zare said

“He threatened to punch the tires of my car with his pistol & vowed to come back and deal with me,” he added
