NEDC  Reaffirms Dedication To Promoting  Education Within Gombe Region

The North East Development Commission (NEDC) Gombe office, has build a one block of three classrooms and donated some other essential items including Chairs, School  bags, and writing materials, to Jauro Abare Primary school in Gombe local government area of the state. 

This was part of the commission’s ongoing efforts to give back to the community and support education to cushion the high rate of out of school children not only in the area but the entire state.

The Coordinator of the commission, Rufa’i Lawan Baba, the commission made mention of the importance of providing students with the  tools and resources which they can use, and make them succeed in their academic activities. .

He added that the commission is aware  that the population of the students has increased hence the need to provide more blocks of classrooms and other necessary materials to enable the school as well as the students to have smooth learning.

Rufa’i also called on the parents to ensure that the kids were sent to school regularly to enable them to fulfill their dream for a better future. 

 Hajiya Yawoji Ahmad the secretary Gombe state basics education board (SUBEB)  said, the commission’s donation is a shining example of the power of community support and collaboration in fostering, nurturing and enriching the educational environment. 

 Mal Umar Sulaiman, headmaster of Jauro Abare Primary school, , expressed his gratitude to the NEDC for their nobility and commitment to supporting education in the community.

According to him, the donation will undoubtedly have a positive impact on the students’ learning experience and academic success.

Alhaji Abdulmalik Umar, a resident of London Mai Dorowa who spoke on behalf of the parents, expressed his happiness to the NEDC, and called on other wealthy individuals to emulate them in supporting education to greater heights.

Muhammad Auwal Hussaini and Ummusalma Hussaini Muhammad who spoke on behalf of the students, expressed their gratitude to the North East Development Commission for the kind gesture.
