Terrorists in the wee hours of Monday, abducted a Divisional Police Officer, DPO, in Birnin Gwari, a banditry-ridden area in Kaduna State.
The terror gang, WikkiTimes gathered, operated for hours along Kaduna-Birnin Gwari highway before making away with the officer.

It was gathered that the DPO was en route to Birnin Gwari as a new place for his assignment
This came a few days after Haruna Abdulmalik, the DPO of Eggon police station was kidnapped in Nasarawa State.
When contacted, Mohammed Jalinge, the police spokesman in Kaduna State did not respond to several calls. At press time, he has not responded to a text sent to him.
