The remain of last wife of Nigeria’s only Prime Minister Hajiya Jummai Abubakar Tafawa Balewa have been buried in Bauchi According to Islamic rites.
The funeral prayer was led by the Chief Imam of Bauchi Alhaji Bala Ahmad Baban Inna, at the Emir’s palace Bauchi.
In attendance were the Bauchi State Governor Bala Muhammed, his deputy Baba Tela, Speaker Bauchi State House of Assembly Abubakar Suleiman, Emirs and top government officials among other.
Hajiya Tafawa Balewa who was the last surviving wife of the Prime Minister died yesterday in Lagos, and her remains flown to Bauchi for burial.
