NGO Distributes Drugs, Medical Consumables To Over 11 Adamawa Hospitals

A not-for-profit organisation, Grassroots Life-Saving Outreach (ESGO), has distributed drugs and other medical items to over 11 health facilities in Adamawa State.

Mr. James Siggi, the programme Manager ESGO, during the flag-off of the second phase of the exercise in Yola said that the scheme was to ensure that vulnerable people are not excluded from health services in the state.

Siggi explained that the health facilities in two Local Governments, Madagali and Michika, are selected to benefit from the free drugs and other medical items for free administration to selected groups in the areas.

The Manager disclosed that the program was funded by the United Nations (UN), through Nigeria Humanitarian Fund (NHF).
