NNPP senatorial candidate, Farouk pays JAMB to 100 indigent students

As part of his efforts to bring succor to indigent students, Farouk Mustpaha, NNPP Bauchi North Senatorial candidate during the 2019 general elections has paid JAMB registration fees to 100 students.

The students are spread across the seven local government of the Bauchi North Senatorial zone.

An ally of the politician, Musbahu Gwasamai said “even without being at the red chamber, Farouk has done a nice job worthy of commendation. “Real Men don’t forget their root, keep doing good things Sir, God’s wisdom should always be your prayer point Sir”, Gwasamai said

Some of the beneficiaries lauded the effort of the politician, describing it as timely.

WikkiTimes recalls that Farouq Mustapha contested for the senatorial position of Bauchi North during the 2019 general elections, but lost to Adamu Bulkachuwa of the All Progressives Congress  (APC) in an election marred by irregularities.

Farouk later challenged the result of the election at the election petition tribunal, to get back what he termed as “stolen mandate”, but the case was dismissed as lacking in merit.

His subsequent appeal at the Appellate Court in Jos was also truncated, in what many pundits believe was impossible for him to win in view of Bulkachuwa’s influence within the country’s justice terrain.
