NSCDC commences mental assessment of personnel in Adamawa

The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) on Tuesday commenced forensic and psychological assessment of its personnel in Adamawa Command.

Speaking at the flagging-off ceremony in Yola, leader of the assessment team from the forensic unit of the corps headquarters Abuja, Mr Umana Suptugene, said the exercise was to have a psychological data base of its personnel for security purposes.

Suptugene said such data of behavior and pattern of lifestyle of personnel were essential because they would go a long way in assigning responsibilities and duties to them.

Also speaking, the Adamawa State Commander, Mr Nuraddeen Abdullahi, urged officers and men of the Command to feel comfortable as they pass through the assessment test.

“I want everybody to free his mind, be calm and answer questions based on your ability,” Abdullahi said. (NAN)
