One Week After Opening Zenith Bank Account with N42,000, Kaduna Businessman Lost Everything

Sometime in May this year, Yusuf Abdulrasheed, a Kaduna-based businessman, opened an account with Zenith Bank with a deposit of N42,000, but the money mysteriously left his account a week after.

The businessman told WikkiTimes he had not collected an ATM card when the money was withdrawn from his account.

“When I opened an account with Zenith, I deposited N42,000 in the account but it was deducted one week later,” he explained.

“I did not authorize any transaction and I have not even received an ATM card from the bank when I opened the account,” he added.

The businessman noted that he had filled different forms to claim his deducted money but to no avail.

“When I visited the bank, I was told to fill a form which I did and bank officials retained the form. But nothing has been done,” Abdulrasheed told WikkiTimes.

According to him, a series of emails had been sent to the bank, yet the matter had not been resolved.

WikkiTimes placed several calls to the Zenith Bank, but there was no response. Also, an enquiry sent across has not been responded to as of press time.
