Philanthropist Offers Free medical Care To 500 People In Bauchi

Dr Safiya Stephen Musa, a philanthropist, has rendered free medical outreach to over 500 people in Bauchi.

Dr Safiya said the exercise has targeted five hundred beneficiaries with Malaria, Diabetics hypertension as well as eye problems.

She noted that the medical outreach is being implemented in the North Eastern States in collaboration with volunteer medical experts drawn from different fields.

Sama’ila Idris, the Project Coordinator, said the massive turnout of people shows that many are in need of the services due to the economic situation in the country.

He appealed to wealthy individuals to come to the aid of poor Nigerians by providing free medical services.

The Coordinator praised Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed, Emir of Bauchi Dr Rilwanu Sulaiman Adamu and Talban Bauchi Dr Tahir Ibrahim Tahir for providing their contribution to the success of the programme.

On his part, the Talban Bauchi Tahir Ibrahim Tahir represented by Ali Hamidu Ajiyan Talba commended Dr Safiya Musa for the gesture and pray for Allah’s reward.

Some of the beneficiaries spoken expressed happiness for the exercise, calling on the wealthy individuals to emulate the kind initiative.
