Hundreds of people have been displaced as households submerged in water in Gadiya village of Gamawa LGA of Bauchi State as a result of heavy downpour that lasted for more than 14-hour.
The rain which started around 11:pm on Wednesday lasted till 3pm of Thursday, thus destroying households and farmlands.
Male Residents are now camped in Mosque while female and children are taking shelter in a Primary Healthcare facility.
