Residents of Bauchi metropolis go about their lawful businesses as protest seeking to #Endbadgovernance begins in the city.
The peaceful demonstrators have gathered around Wunti Street in the metropolis with youths carrying placards with different inscriptions.
Similarly, they displayed placards carrying different inscriptions such as “Bring Back Fuel Subsidy,” “End Insecurity,” and “End Hunger.”
Security personnel could be seen around given protection to the protesters.
Speaking, one of the organisers of the of the protest, Mufida Ibrahim, said they have notified the police about their plan to hold the protest.
She said, “we have gotten approval for the protest from the police, and they warned us to ensure peaceful demonstration, and we are committed to that.”
WikkiTimes learnt that banks, filling stations, government offices opened for routine activities.
