Pictorials: Security Operatives Guard as Katsina Farmers Harvest Produce

As harvest season commences in Katsina, security operatives have started providing cover to farmers in Jibia local government area of the State.

Pictures obtained by WikkiTimes showed joint security operatives protecting farmers to harvest their farm produce along Jibia-Gusau road, a notable area where bandits prevent farmers from accessing their farmlands.

Recall that Bello Turji, a notorious bandit had earlier threatened to takeover farm produce from farmers in their areas of influence.

In the pictures, operatives of the Nigerian armed forces, police and Katsina Community Watch Corps were seeing collaborating to ensure the safety of farmers.

“Remarkable Joint Security Team Work in Katsina. The Nigerian armed forces, police, and Katsina Community Watch Corps are collaborating to ensure the safety of farmers in Jibia Local Government as they cultivate their crops along the perilous Jibia-Gusau road”, tweeted Isah Miqdad, Governor Dikko Radda’s media aide.
