Simon Bako Lalong, Plateau State governor, swears in his new Chief of Staff, Hon. Noel Kuryil Dongjur and the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Danladi Abok Atu, on Monday.
The governor, who is in his second tenure, tasked the new appointees to key in to his government thrusts of ‘peace, security and good governance; physical infrastructural development; and sustainable economic re-birth.’
Governor Lalong’s second appointment is coming after three months’ of Lalong’s inauguration for a second term of office on May 29th 2019.
WikkiTimes reports that the state’s Commissioners who are pivotal to the governor’s policy thrusts have not been appointed, casting doubts among political pundits on whether the government was serious on delivering its mandate.
