Nigerian police officers, working with the military and other security agencies, have arrested a 22-year-old woman, Gloria Okolie, on suspicion of involvement in a series of deliberate attacks on police stations, INEC offices and killings of security personnel in the South East, according to a BBC Hausa Service report.
A statement, signed by the Deputy Spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force, CSP Aremu Adeniran, said the suspect was a native of Umutanza, Imo State.
Her arrest and information tapped from her will assist the police arrest Benjamin Uzoma Emojin.

The statement added that the investigation revealed that Gloria Okolie had used her gender and beauty in conducting intelligence operations on the military and police on behalf of the IPOB.
She also collected cash, drugs and weapons on behalf of the IPOB and delivered them to the group’s commanders in their camps.
The statement said she played a key role in the killing of police officers and the destruction of large amounts of property.

He said she was arrested as a result of an investigation and the establishment of a special security force called Operation Restore Peace, to crack down on IPOB fighters fighting for secession from Nigeria and to block access to drugs and weapons.
The investigation revealed that Gloria Okolie was a member of the IPOB in Imo State, who worked with another Benjamin Uzoma Emojiri known as “Onye Army”, one of the IPOB commanders.
Security officials are searching for him in connection with the attack on Imo State Police Headquarters and the headquarters of the Imo State Prison Authority.
CSP Adeniran said Gloria Okolie would be brought to justice as soon as the police complete their investigation.
