The Police in Jigawa State have arrested a 25-year-old Sani Abdullahi of Basirka town in Gwaram LGA for allegedly sodomizing 12 minors.
Abdullahi was alleged to have lured the children with biscuits and sweets while abusing the kids sexually.
Confirming the arrest, Shiisu Lawan Adam, Police spokesman in Dutse said Abdullahi was arrested following complaints lodged against him that he used to deceived young children with money and sweets and exploit them sexually.
He said the suspect confessed to have started the act when he was in Almajiri school in Zaria, Kaduna State before he was expelled by his teacher.
In a confessional audio obtained by WikkiTimes, Abdullahi said the children, mostly under 12 years, used to visit his room in Unguwar Kudu, Basirka town where he perpetrated the act.
“I was here for allegedly sodomizing young boys, and it was true that I used to play with their private parts, and they did the same with mine. It was the last boy that I had carnal knowledge of”, said Abdullahi.
However, contrary to Abdullahi’s claims, the spokesman said all the 12 victims were taken to hospital for examination where it was revealed that they were all sexually abused.
“The victims have been taken to a medical facility where they were confirmed to be sexually exploited, with some of them having abnormalities in their private parts”, said Lawan.
The spokesman further said the suspect will soon be arraigned before court of law to face justice.
