Police, NDLEA Operatives Clash in Kogi Over Inspector’s Wife Caught with Cannabis

Police officers and operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Kogi State have engaged in a physical tussle over a police Inspector’s wife reportedly caught with a bag of Cannabis and other illicit drugs.

The clash ensued after NDLEA operatives on Monday arrested the Inspector’s wife allegedly with cannabis sativa, in a car belonging to her husband. Sources disclosed that the wife was arrested while distributing the products.

However, when the NDLEA operatives moved to take her away with the vehicle, some policemen challenged them and it led to a fight.

Despite police officers’ efforts to thwart the arrest of the inspector’s wife, she was later taken to the NDLEA office in Lokoja for further investigation.
