Vice President Kashim Shettima has advised youths against engaging in protests, saying such actions often lead to violence and destruction of public property.
Shettima, while on a working visit to Jigawa State on Tuesday for the inauguration of some projects, dissuaded the youths from participating in the planned protest starting August 1.
He assured them that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration is committed to implementing policies and programmes designed to improve the lives of Nigerians.
