Nigerian actress and film maker, Rahama Sadau, has emerged the best African actress in the Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival.
The actress made the announcement via a Twitter post earlier today while celebrating the achievement with hearty cheers.
“When I got the nomination, I told myself that it’s enough to celebrate & be proud of,” she tweeted. “Little did I know that the baby is actually coming home to me. UNBELIEVABLE!!!”
Sadau further expressed gratitude to her colleagues in the industry including Nollywood renowned comedian and film producer Ayodeji Richard Makun popularly known as AY.
“Special thanks to my boss @AYCOMEDIAN for such a wonderful opportunity & for believing in me. @tokamcbaror for being the magician that he always is. None of these would’ve happened without your creation,” her tweet read further.
