The 2022 Ramadan fast will commence on Saturday according to Saudi Arabia’s Supreme Court.
Arab News reports the official sighting of the new crescent moon, on Friday.
The Supreme Court according to the news outlet congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and all citizens and residents of the Kingdom.
The sighting of the moon marks the beginning of the Muslims’ fast.
This year’s fasting will be observed without the coronavirus restrictions in the kingdom.
