Realnews’ 10th Anniversary Lecture Will Feature Drug Enforcement Agency Boss, Marwa

Buba Marwa, Chairman, National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency NDLEA, would deliver a lecture for Realnews Magazine’s 10th Anniversary Lecture on Thursday, November 17, at the Sheraton Hotel, Lagos.

Realnews Anniversary Lecture Series was established to commemorate the best minds in societies and to tap from them to enrich the discourse on national development.

In a statement by the Publisher of the magazine, Maureen Chigbo, Marwa’s lecture themed ‘Drug Abuse among Youths in Africa: Implication for Nigerian Economy and 2023 Elections’ will feature on drug abuse among youths, its impact on the economy and with respect to the 2023 elections.

Maureen noted that Marwa’s acceptance to deliver the lecture was communicated to Realnews in a letter dated May 31, 2022, and signed by his military assistant, Lieutenant Colonel M.I. Aminu.

Marwa, the former military governor of Lagos State, is a renowned national and international security expert and he is being reckoned with in the fight against drug trafficking and abuse in Nigeria and Africa at large.

The lecture will be chaired by Elizabeth Ngozi Ebi, Group Managing Director of Futureview Financial Services Limited, who will also moderate the panel session.
