Hafsah was lucky to escape with a motorcyclist carrying her while others were robbed.

A motorcyclist who spoke to WikkiTimes said he was taking a female passenger to Jeka Da Fari area when he ran into the hoodlums.

“They stopped us, raised a cutlass and asked for the woman’s phone. She had to hand it over to them without objection,” he said.

When contacted, the state Mahid Muazu, spokesman for Gombe Police Command said he is yet to “receive such a report but any development will be communicated.”
