The authorities in Kebbi have released the names of the 25 schoolgirls abducted on Monday from their hostel at Government Girls Comprehensive Senior Secondary School (GGCSS), Maga.
The Chairman of Danko-Wasagu Local Government Area, Hussaini Aliyu, on Wednesday made public the full list of the abducted students, drawn from different classes across the junior and senior secondary levels.
According to the list, the victims include students from SSS 2, SSS 3, JSS 3, and JSS 2.
Students abducted from SSS 3A and 3B:

- Rashida Muhammad Dingu
- Saliha Umar
- Aisha Usman
- Jamila Iliyasu
- Maryam Iliyasu
- Naja’atu Abdullahi
- Zainab Kolo.

Nana Firdausi Jibril
- Mas’uda Yakubu Romo.

The local government chairman said efforts by security agencies and local vigilantes were ongoing to track the kidnappers and rescue the students.
The abduction has triggered widespread concern across Kebbi State and renewed calls for improved security in schools, especially in rural communities vulnerable to armed bandit attacks.
