Self-Styled Gombe Doctor Reacts to NMA’s Criticism, Reiterates Medical Claim

A self-acclaimed doctor based in Gombe State, Abubakar Sadiq (Pharmacy) has reacted to a statement by Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), criticising him over “bogus” medical claims.

The association in a statement, last week, berated the self-acclaimed medical practitioner who claimed he has a machine that “burns” any ailment including cold, poor sight, infertility in women as well as other diseases that require surgery.

Self-acclaimed Gombe Doctor Criticised for ‘Bogus’  Claims

The Doctor in a recent video broadcasted on facebook, said he was misunderstood by the medical body.

According to him, the machine he was referring to is not a scanning machine as mentioned in the NMA’s statement but a certain machine known as ‘Lilon Energy Machine’,  which he claimed ‘burns’ diseases.

“Someone brought the machine to Gombe. It was a Pastor. He sought the approval of the state government as well as the ministry of health before mounting it in my office,” he explained in the video.

“He offered to sell it to me as well as hospitals in Gombe but nobody bought it and I could not afford it. It costs N5,000,000.

“He even conducted a workshop for doctors here in Gombe on how to use the machine and they all testified to its authentically,” he added.

For the few months the pastor mounted the machine in the doctor’s store, people patronized it for free and were treated of their ailments, the doctor claimed, adding he owns a smaller version of the Lilon machine “cost” N500, 000.

“It is called the Energy Bucket Machine.  Most of you here have seen it. It burns sugar, rheumatism and colds,” he reiterated.

Further speaking on the NMA statement, Sadiq alleged that he was being framed and intentionally accused wrongly and that he knows those behind it.

“I know why I was wrongly accused. It’s simply out of envy and for the fact that I endorsed Atiku over Tinubu in the presidential campaign. I have their names and contacts but I won’t expose them because it is against the teachings of Islam,” he said.

He, however, dared anyone with the ailments who doubts his claims to visit his office and patronize the machine for free.

“If you are still doubting me, come with your patient. If your patient suffers diabetes, I will treat him for a month and if he is completely cured, you will compensate me with the sum of N10, 000,000,” he said.
