An Adamawa herder, Abubakar Bello, told WikkiTimes in a phone interview that the strange disease often shows sign through release of foam and strong odour from mouth of the affected animals and swollen legs.
However, Maksha revealed that a sample has been taken to a laboratory in Jos for testing.
According to the commissioner, the state has taken proactive measures to mitigate the spread of the disease, including the reactivation of an annual livestock vaccine programme.
