Study hard to complement Gov Bala’s healthcare programs, Bauchi Speaker tasks college students

The Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, Rt. Honourable Abubakar Suleiman has challenged the students of College of Health Technology Ningi to face their studies with all seriousness in order to contribute their quota towards quality healthcare delivery in the State.

This was contained in a press statement issued to newsmen in Bauchi by the Spokesperson to the Speaker, Comrade Abdul Ahmad Burra on Monday. 

Speaker Abubakar who gave the challenge on Monday during the 2019/2020 Matriculation Ceremony of the College which took place at the College’s complex in Ningi said by so doing, they will complement the giant stride of the present administration in the area of quality and effective healthcare delivery in the state.

The Speaker who was the Special Guest of Honour during the ceremony, said that Governor Bala Mohammad has already declared state of emergency on the health sector so as to revamp health sector in Bauchi State.

“I believe everybody will agree with me that the Governor means business. “He has done so many things towards revamping the health sector. “As I know him very well, I am very sure he will do more and before the end of his first tenure, health sector will In Sha Allah be a very new and commendable sector,” he said.

The speaker while calling on the matriculating students to exhibit hard work in the cause of their studies noted that it will help the governor to turn around the fortunes of health sector in the state.

The speaker who commended the Acting Provost of the College, Alhaji Garba Hussaini for his purposeful management and giant strides in the College, equally called on the staff and students to cooperate with him in order to give the institution a new face.
