A Pro APC group, MAAbubakar Solidarity Forever has accused some party stalwarts of disloyaltyand sabotage, which they said contributed to the failure of the Party duringthe elections and court cases that saw it lost to the PDP at the Supreme Court.

“The APC as a family cannot afford to lose Bauchi State in 2023general election by folding their arms to allow some selfish, unpatriotic,greedy and miscreants among us to take over the party to the slaughter housemost especially those who are aspiring to become president and state governorin the next general election”, chairman of the forum Abubakar Gabi has said.

The forum which accuses some APC stalwarts in the state of holdingsecret meetings at different locations with the intent to destabilize the partysays such elements of disloyalty will not be tolerated.

When asked who the disloyal members were, Nasiru Chigari, amember of the MA Abubakar solidarity forum said “they are those that contestedand lost election during the party primaries, they are now trying to bringdisunity with the intention of creating factions in the party so that thenational working committee will be forced to dissolve the leadership at thestate level and appoint interim Chairman” he said.

The group further reiterated support to the former governor,MA Abubakar during its launching ceremony held at the state APC Secretariat andalso attended by top party officials including state chairman Uba Nana, hisdeputy, Director General APC 2019 campaign organization Aminu Danmaliki amongother chieftains.

“We lost at the 2019 general elections, at the electionspetition tribunal, Appeal Court judgement and Supreme Court verdicts have allcome and gone, and therefore should be put behind.

” Under this circumstance, the only option left for allthe teeming supporters of the former governor is to pray for God’s guidancetowards looking for a better future while unity, understanding, tolerance,perseverance and therefore should be our guiding principle”, the group added.

Also speaking, the state APC Chairman Uba Nana said theparty cannot afford to lose Bauchi State in 2023 general election; hence theneed for all members to remain committed and united ahead of the next election.
