Suspected Hoodlums Murder Motorcycle Electrician in Bauchi

A number of suspected hoodlums have mercilessly attacked and killed Sama’ila Julde, a middle-aged man and skilled motorcycle electrician in Misau, Bauchi State.

The gruesome discovery unfolded Thursday night when Julde’s lifeless body was found in a pool of blood around Misau’s Area One.

Details surrounding the circumstances of his death remain unclear but WikkiTimes has learnt that Julde, a resident of Makarahuta, Misau, was known for his peaceful nature and had no apparent conflicts with anyone.

A family source, who asked not to be named, expressed profound shock at the news, emphasising Julde’s non-confrontational demeanour.

“It was shocking to receive the news of this incident. I don’t know who would do this to Sama’ila. He wasn’t involved in other people’s business. This act is barbaric. May his soul rest in peace,” the source lamented, shedding tears.

Reacting to the rising menace of hoodlum activities, Chief Imam Usman Muhammed Baba urged parents to monitor their children’s behavior closely. He emphasised the pressing need for collective efforts to curb such acts.

The chief imam, leading the funeral prayers at Misau Central Mosque, called on the community to remain vigilant, reporting the presence of hoodlums carrying dangerous weapons.

This tragic event follows a similar incident a month ago, where an 18-year-old, Umar Sama’ila, fell victim to a 500-level Veterinary Medicine student in Misau.

Despite attempts to seek information from Ahmed Muhammed Wakili, the spokesperson for the Bauchi State Police Command, calls went unanswered and SMS messages remained unresponded to at the time of press. .
