“I lose strength during fights and this has been on for sometimes now, but before the 2019 Africa Games, I am going to be committed to solve it.

“I will put in my best to training and ensure that I build on my stamina to sustain me in any fight,’’ she said.

Anyanacho recalled that she narrowly won gold at the 2019 Nigeria International Taekwondo Open due to loss of strength, but she thanked God that she was able to manage herself through the fight.

The 67kg champion said her target was to come out as one of the best in the games and do her best for Nigeria.

She said she would take part in tournaments that would give her the needed points, exposure and qualification for the games.
