The Governor of Taraba State, Dr. Agbu Kefas, has approved the implementation of a new minimum wage of N70,000 for civil servants across the state.
This decision, according to a statement made available to newsmen by the office of the head of civil service signed by Paul Maigida Tin, is to align with the administration’s commitment to address the aspirations and needs of its workforce.
“The new wage structure will take effect from November 2024, and all civil servants in the state are advised to take note of this update, the statement said.
The statement noted that the approval proves Governor Kefas’s dedication to enhancing the welfare of state employees and addressing economic challenges faced by workers in the state.
